Built specifically for Texas, this official app is designed to assist hunters and anglers in reporting harvest, accessing numerous public hunting areas, and viewing license holdings from their mobile devices. These functionalities aid the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in managing healthy game and fish populations.

Key features of the Texas Hunt & Fish app include:

• Connect and display your hunting and fishing license (paper license holders must still carry physical tags when pursuing tagged species)
• Perform mandatory hunt harvest reporting for wild turkey, white-tailed deer, and alligator gar
• Digitally tag harvested game and fish (requires purchase of an appropriate digital hunting and/or fishing license)
• Report and track harvest of many other native game animals as well as flounder and red snapper catches
• Perform electronic onsite registration (eOSR) for many public hunt areas
• Download maps of many public hunt areas for use with or without data service
• View CWD Zone boundaries and, if location services are enabled, determine your position in relation to the nearest zone
• Report your harvest in either English or Spanish

Note: tagging requirements associated with your license type still apply when using this app. If your license includes physical tags and a harvest log on the license, all physical documentation must be completed, irrespective of the app's use.
